How
to honor God?
Honoring
God is a self-evidence for a believer. Or is it though?
Have
we always remembered, that the whole God´s law and the prophets are under
the double command of love (Math. 22:35-40). So that we will check and test
our understanding, our speech, our writings and all the happenings in our lives
according the double command of love. Is my talking e.g. loving and how is it
to honor God? Our life is either to honor God, or not so much. We will surely
all do repentance in this till the moment Jesus fetches us back. Only Jesus is
perfect, and we should not judge nor measure each other.
God
has told in Proverbs, that He loves those who persue to righteousness (Prov.
15:9). So ”to persue”. It´s enough. When we announce to the Lord, that we
are making repentance in whatsoever matter, it´s enough. And, of course, when
we really are making repentance.
When we let God to heal us from all the insults, sorrows, heartache, traumas and fears, it will cause us healing in our hearts and souls. Only after that, we are ready to love each other for real, without pride, self accusations nor belittling. We are able to love our neighbour with mercy and with holy love.
And
along this healing of heart and soul we are able to love Father the God and
Jesus Christ with pure and holy love. Holy Supper is the excample of
this, and we are passing that for the memoir of Jesus Christ. It is His Memoir
Supper. The Wor tells us (1. Kor. 11:23-32), that whoever eats the Lord´s
Supper without worth, eats and drinks oneself a judgement. Because of that
there is so much sicknesses and deaths. This is a very important and severe
place of God´s Word.

Miten kunnioittaa Jumalaa?
Uskovalle ihmiselle
Jumalan kunnioitus on itsestään selvyys. Vai onko sittenkään?
Olemmeko aina
muistaneet, että Rakkauden
kaksoiskäskyn varassa on koko Jumalan laki ja profeetat (Matt. 22:35-40)? Eli että
tarkistamme ja koettelemme ymmärryksemme, puheemme, kirjoituksemme ja elämämme
kaikki tapahtumat Rakkauden kaksoiskäskyn mukaan. Onko esim. puheeni
rakkaudellista ja kuinka se on kunniaksi Jumalalle? Elämämme on joko kunniaksi
Herralle, tai sitten ei niinkään. Teemme jokainen varmasti tässä parannusta
siihen asti, kunnes Jeesus tulee takaisin noutamaan meidät. Vain Jeesus on
täydellinen, emmekä saa tuomita emmekä mittailla toisiamme.
Sananlaskuissa Jumala
kertoo, että Hän rakastaa
niitä, jotka pyrkivät vanhurskauteen (Sananl. 15:9). Eli ”pyrkivät”. Se riittää.
Kun ilmoitamme Herralle, että teemme parannusta siinä ja siinä asiassa, se
riittää. Ja kun oikeasti myös teemme parannusta, tietenkin.
Kun annamme Jumalan
parantaa itsemme kaikista loukkauksista, suruista, murheista, traumoista ja
peloista, aiheuttaa se
parantumisen sydämen ja sielun tasolla. Tällöin vasta olemme
valmiita rakastamaan toisiamme aidosti, ilman ylpeyttä ja myöskään
itsesyytöksiä ja väheksymistä. Osaamme rakastaa vastaantulijaa armolla ja
pyhällä lähimmäisen rakkaudella.
Ja tämän sydämen ja
sielun parantumisen myötä osaamme myös rakastaa puhtaalla ja pyhällä
rakkaudella Isä Jumalaa ja Jeesusta Kristusta. Tästä on esimerkki Pyhä Ehtoollinen, jota
vietämme Herran Jeesuksen Kristuksen muistoksi. Se on Hänen muistoateriansa. Sana kertoo (1. Kor.
11:23-32), että kuka arvotta syö Herran ehtoollista, syö ja juo itselleen
tuomion. Senpä tähden on niin paljon sairautta ja kuolemaa. Tämä on tärkeä ja
hyvin vakava Sanan paikka.
Lopuksi: rakasta, rakasta, rakasta!
